These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SahelCouture platform, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Sahel Couture ("sahelcouture.com","SahelCouture", "we", "us", or "our").
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
SahelCouture is a lifestyle and events platform focused on Egypt's North Coast and surrounding coastal destinations. The Service includes:
SahelCouture is a technical intermediary platform. We provide the digital infrastructure through which users can discover, and connect with, the third-party venues, event organisers, and other service providers featured on the Service (each, a "Provider"). SahelCouture does not own, manage, or operate the venues, events, or other physical assets and services listed on the Service, does not set Providers' prices or conditions of entry or admission, and, unless expressly stated otherwise, is not a party to any transaction or agreement between you and any Provider.
At present, the Service operates as a discovery and information platform only. Event listings may include ticket information — such as prices, availability, or points of sale — supplied by the relevant Provider, but SahelCouture does not currently sell tickets, take reservations, or process any bookings or payments through the Service. Any purchase of tickets, reservations, or services from a Provider is made directly between you and that Provider, on the Provider's own terms, and at your own risk.
If and when SahelCouture introduces booking or ticketing functionality, our role will remain that of an intermediary marketplace connecting you with Providers. Upon confirmation of any booking or ticket purchase made through the Service, a direct contractual agreement will be formed between you and the relevant Provider, who is and remains the seller of record and the party responsible for supplying the venue, event, or service concerned. SahelCouture will not be a party to that agreement and will not be the seller of the ticket or the provider of the underlying venue or event services, even where it facilitates the transaction. Any such functionality will be governed by additional terms that we will publish before it becomes available.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account or use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account using a valid email address, which serves as your login identifier. You agree to:
We reserve the right to refuse registration, or to suspend or reclaim account identifiers, where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or its users.
The Service allows eligible users — typically venue owners, managers, or event organisers — to submit venues or events for inclusion in the directory ("Submissions"). Submissions may include business details such as the venue or event name, category, location and map coordinates, operating hours, photographs, and contact information.
All Submissions pass through a moderation and approval process before they are published on the Service. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to approve, reject, edit for format or clarity, or decline to publish any Submission, and to remove any published Submission at any time, with or without notice. Submission of content does not guarantee publication, and we have no obligation to publish, retain, or restore any Submission.
By making a Submission, you represent and warrant that:
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By making a Submission, you grant SahelCouture a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for formatting and presentation purposes), and distribute that content on and in connection with the Service, including in promotional material for the Service, for as long as the content remains on the Service. You may request removal of your Submission by contacting us, and we will remove it from active display within a reasonable period, subject to any copies retained as required for legal, security, or record-keeping purposes.
During the pre-launch period, the Service operates the VIP Program, under which existing members may invite others to join. The following terms apply:

The Service — including its design, text, graphics, logos, editorial and magazine content, software, and the selection and arrangement of directory content — is owned by or licensed to SahelCouture and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
"SahelCouture" and associated names, logos, and marks are trademarks of Sahel Couture. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.
User Submissions remain the property of their respective owners, subject to the licence granted in Section 4.3. Trademarks, names, and images of third-party venues and events belong to their respective owners; their appearance on the Service does not imply endorsement of, or by, SahelCouture.
The Service displays information about third-party venues and events, and may contain links to third-party websites or services (including venue contact details and social media). The interactive map on the Service is provided using Mapbox technology. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, websites, or services, and we make no representation as to their accuracy, availability, or suitability. Venue and event information — including opening hours, pricing, and availability — is provided by the relevant venue, organiser, or submitting user, and may change without notice. You should verify important details directly with the venue or organiser before relying on them.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SahelCouture and its founders, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to SahelCouture for use of the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (and, as the Service is currently provided free of charge, this amount may be zero).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Egyptian law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SahelCouture and its founders, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your Submissions; (c) your violation of any law or of any third party's rights; or (d) your misuse of the invitation system, including inviting persons whose contact information you were not entitled to share.
We may suspend or terminate your account and your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, that your conduct poses a risk to the Service or its users, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@sahelcouture.com. Upon termination, the licence granted to you to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 4.3, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13 — will survive.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law.
We may amend these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on the Service with a revised effective date and, where the change is significant, take reasonable steps to notify registered users (for example, by email or by notice within the Service). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of them. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
